The Internet is changing the way companies do business. This course will provide an introduction to the basics of electronic business and includes project planning, as well as marketing, customer service and business plan development. . The course focuses on how eBusiness is carried out, including marketing, web design, and electronic retailing, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of this form of commerce, the infrastructures in place to support this type of electronic business, and the global economy within which it takes place. Upon registering, you are given an initial six months to complete the program. Should you need more time, you may request a 6-month extension at no additional charge.

8. Identify the accounting, privacy and security processes that are needed to protect an online business
9. Understand the potential pitfalls of online retailing and how to avoid them
