Dean's Message

Dear Prospective Candidate,

The current era on our world scenes presents us with very profound challenges.  As a result of the changing world order, the traditional rules that have prevailed in the past with regards to national sovereignty, the use of force and the intervention of humanitarian organizations no more have the solutions to the challenges the world is facing.  Just as many winners have emerged out of the global market economy, a lot of losers have also been created.  World issues such as international terrorism, climate change and the depletion of economic resources are challenges that cannot be addressed by a single nation, but by nations acting in concert.  The common link to these challenges is found in the proper harnessing of modern technology and management of the resources available in order to address and find solutions to these challenges.

We at the Flowers School of Technology and Management have put together a rigorous and interdisciplinary curriculum which focuses on these connections.  The intersection of business and technology has always been at the heart of our College.

We seek to train knowledgeable, potential managers, technologists and leaders to translate their acquired knowledge and skills in modern management and technology into practice that will sharpen the technological world. Our internationally ranked School of Technology and Management teaches students how to take advantage of the many business opportunities made possible by emerging technologies and to succeed in an increasingly global economy.

The curriculum of Flowers School of Technology and Management links interests and coursework. Our flexible curriculum allows students to tailor their education to their particular interests in the international arena and encourages them to explore those interests from innovative perspectives. In order to offer a world of possibilities, all of the school's programs have been extensively internationalized to give students the global competence they need to compete both at home and abroad.

The community of the Flowers School of Technology and Management links students to a lifetime of an academic, professional, and social network.  We have an accomplished faculty and alumni who are active players on the global stage in their respective fields and disciplines.  They are always ready and willing to share their experience and contacts with our current students.
