Dean's Message

Dear Prospective Candidate,
The current era on our world scenes presents us with very profound challenges. As a result of the changing world order, the traditional rules that have prevailed in the past with regards to national sovereignty, the use of force and the intervention of humanitarian organizations no more have the solutions to the challenges the world is facing. Just as many winners have emerged out of the global market economy, a lot of losers have also been created. World issues such as international terrorism, climate change and the depletion of economic resources are challenges that cannot be addressed by a single nation, but by nations acting in concert. The common link to these challenges is found in the proper harnessing of modern technology and management of the resources available in order to address and find solutions to these challenges.
We at the Flowers School of Technology and Management have put together a rigorous and interdisciplinary curriculum which focuses on these connections. The intersection of business and technology has always been at the heart of our College.
We seek to train knowledgeable, potential managers, technologists and leaders to translate their acquired knowledge and skills in modern management and technology into practice that will sharpen the technological world. Our internationally ranked School of Technology and Management teaches students how to take advantage of the many business opportunities made possible by emerging technologies and to succeed in an increasingly global economy.
