Brief statement on Flowers School of Technology and Gatlin International professional programmes:

I happened to identify Flowers School of Technology and Management after searching on the Internet to get a school that offers Lean Mastery by online. I realized that the school’s course is an open enrollment type and can start at any time. The most important one is that all the courses, including the Lean Mastery is delivered entirely online and students do not have to travel to the school. Again, the course is self-paced and one can finish the course at any time within the given 180 days. If for any reason one can not complete within the given period, an extension can be given. All the above actually made me to choose the school for the course.


The course helped me to have a broader understanding of the Lean Enterprise concepts. The concepts will assist to eliminate waste that can be found at different operational departments in my company. The most important benefit I had from the course was the ability to develop value stream processes and determine the value added, non-valued-added and non-value-added-but-required activities and finally use the lean tools for improvement. At the end of the course, I realized that the 5 lean principles of specifying value, value streaming processes, letting processes flow, customer pulling value and striving for perfection are the key guiding principles of every Lean Enterprise professional.
